Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO

Eric Chen is the CEO and founder of ProphetStor Data Services, Inc. Prior to starting ProphetStor, he was the Vice President and General Manager of Asia Pacific Operations at FalconStor Software Inc. from 2000 to 2012. Dr. Chen holds a Ph.D. in computer and information science from The Ohio State University and a B.S. in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University.

Sunny Siu

Co-Founder and President

Sunny Siu is a co-founder and President of ProphetStor, and an expert in artificial intelligence.  He holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. in electrical engineering from Stanford University, a B.E. (summa cum laude) in electrical engineering from Cooper Union, and a B.S. (summa cum laude) in mathematics and computer science from New York University. Dr. Siu was an endowed-chair associate professor at MIT, the lead author of a research monograph “Discrete Neural Computation: A Theoretical Foundation”, a recipient of best research paper awards from IEEE and SPIE and the US National Science Foundation Young Investigator Award. 

Prior to ProphetStor, Dr. Siu was Broadcom’s Managing Director for Greater China of the Processors and Wireless Infrastructure BU (2012-2015), President and General Manager of Asia Pacific at NetLogic (2009-2012, acquired by Broadcom in 2012), and a co-founder and President of Asia Pacific at RMI Corporation (acquired by NetLogic in 2009).

Ming Sheu

Executive Vice President of Products

Prior to ProphetStor,  Ming Sheu served as the VP of Cloud Engineering at Ruckus Wireless/CommScope where he led a team building the next generation cloud native network management application for enterprise WiFi APs and network switches.   Dr. Sheu holds a Ph.D. in computer and information science from The Ohio State University and a B.S. in computer science and information engineering from National Taiwan University.

Alan Chen

Vice President of Engineering

Mr. Chen previously served as VP of Engineering and Technical Services at FalconStor Software Inc. from 2000 to 2013. He was an Assistant VP at Computer Associates. Mr. Chen holds an MS in computer science from New York Institute of Technology.
